Keuka Hires Ben Guillano As Head Men's And Women's Coach

Keuka has hired Benjamin Guiliano, head men’s and women’s volleyball coach a Pfeiffer University in Misenheimer, N.C., to fulfill the same duties in Keuka Park.

“We feel lucky to be able to have someone with Ben’s successful background and experience joining our staff,” said Sweet. “He has been successful both with women’s and men’s volleyball and has some very good ties with the local volleyball community.”

Guiliano, a native of Spencerport, N.Y., has coached at Pfeiffer since 2005. He has also served as head volleyball coach at Creighton University, St. Andrew’s Presbyterian College, Rochester Institute of Technology, and Genesee Community College in Batavia.

“I am excited about being back in upstate New York and building the Keuka men’s volleyball program and continuing the winning tradition of the women’s program,” said Guiliano.

The women spikers went 18-10 and captured the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) regular season title last season.

Guiliano’s career has also included stints as director of the Royce Reynolds Family Student Life Center and supervisor of athletic operations, intramural director and head softball coach at Greensboro (N.C.) College.

He has directed NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA teams to 13 conference and four regional titles. His overall volleyball coaching record is 546-396.

Guiliano holds a Master of Science degree in physical education from SUNY Brockport and a Bachelor of Arts in communications media from SUNY Geneseo.
