Union,NJ: Ramapo senior outside hitter Andrew
Brown posted a match-high ten kills to lead the
Roadrunners to a straight set win (25-23, 25-14, 25-18) over host
Kean University in a North East Collegiate Volleyball Association
– Metro Division match on Wednesday evening.
Kean rookie Christian Portera (pictured left) had a team-high nine
kills and six digs for the Cougars (3-7, 1-3 NECVA-Metro), while
sophomore Steve Valhalla added five kills and four digs and junior
Sam Haimann dished out 19 assists.
Brown recorded just one error in 12 total attempts for a .750
hitting percentage for the Roadrunners (5-6, 2-2 NECVA-Metro).

Balint posted 32 assists.
The Cougars travel to The Sage Colleges on Saturday, February 12th
for a tri-match against the host Gators and Elmira College while
Ramapo takes on New Jersey City and Lancaster Biblical on Saturday
at 11am at the Bradley Center in Mahwah.
