Nazareth Hosts UVC Championship Tournament
Top-seeded Nazareth College hosts the first United Volleyball Conference Championship Saturday and Sunday.
Play opens with two quarterfinal matches at 10 a.m. on Saturday. Second-seeded Medaille College faces seventh-seeded SUNY New Paltz, while third-seeded Stevens Institute of Technology takes on sixth-seeded Elmira College.
The winners of those matches will play in the first semifinal later that day at 2 p.m.
The Golden Flyers play eighth-seeded SUNY IT in another quarterfinal at noon, the same time that fourth-seeded Vassar College and fifth-seeded D'Youville College face one another.
The winners of those matches will play in the first semifinal later that day at 4 p.m.
Both semifinals and the championship match at 1 p.m. on Sunday will be webcast.
