The One and Only SCIAC Champs
THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – The Cal Lutheran
volleyball team secured sole possession
of the 2010 Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic
Conference (SCIAC)
regular season title with a 3-0 home win over Occidental on Friday
night.

In all three sets the Regals faced early deficits but were able to
play catch up
with a strong play from the supporting cast and a service game
that featured
nine aces.
Each member of the senior quartet of Allison Kerr, Megan Thorpe,
Erin Exline and
Cara Ihde started the match and combined to contribute 29 kills,
14 digs and two
assists in the victory.
Kerr led the Regals offense with 14 kills, while OXY’s
Stephanie Gann also
posting 14 kills.
Cal Lutheran (24-3, 13-0 SCIAC) will conclude regular season play
at Redlands on
