Endicott Favored to Win the 2010 Commonwealth Coast Title

Endicott College has been selected as the favorite to win the 2010 TCCC volleyball championship, it was announced today by Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye. Voting for the preseason poll was conducted among the league’s head volleyball coaches.

Endicott (19-17, 9-1 TCCC in 2009) received four of the nine first-place votes in the 2010 TCCC preseason poll. Roger Williams University, which also received four first-place votes was picked to finish second. Western New England College, recipient of the three remaining first-place votes, and Colby-Sawyer College were picked to finish third and fourth, respectively.

Teams received 11 points for every first place vote received, 10 points for second place votes, nine points for third place votes, down to one point for a last place vote. First place votes are shown in parentheses.
