Endicott Selected as Top Seed in 2010 ECAC Division III New England Women’s Volleyball Championship

CAPE COD, Mass. -- After finishing the regular-season with a
22-15 record, Endicott
was selected as the number one seed in the 2010 ECAC Division III
New England
Women’s Volleyball Championship. The tournament is an
eight-team field with
quarterfinal, semifinal and championship rounds.
In the first round contests on Wednesday, November 10, No. 1
Endicott (22-15) will host
No. 8 Daniel Webster (18-7) at 6:00 p.m. while the second seed
Keene State (24-12) will
face No. 7 Worcester State (15-17) at 7:00 p.m. at Keene. No. 3
Plymouth State (18-13)
hosts No. 6 University of New England (20-11) at 6:00 p.m., and
No. 4 Colby-Sawyer
(19-14) will host No. 5 Mount Ida (21-8) at 7:00 p.m.
The first-round winners will advance to the semifinals on
Saturday, November 13 at
Endicott or the highest remaining seed. The winner of
Endicott/Daniel Webster will face
the winner of Colby-Sawyer/Mount Ida at 3:30 p.m. in one
semifinal, and the winner of
Keene State/Worcester State will play the winner of Plymouth
State/University of New
England at 5:30 p.m. in the other semifinal. The semifinal winners
will meet at 7:30 p.m.
for the championship.
