Elmira Hands Stevens its First Empire 8 Volleyball Loss Since Joining the Conference in 2007

Rochester, NY - After dropping a five-setter to Stevens Institute of Technology a year ago (one of four conference five-set losses), Elmira College turned the tables on the opening day of conference play this season and handed the Ducks their first Empire 8 loss since joining the league in 2007. The Soaring Eagels won the first two sets (26-24 and 25-18) before Stevens took the next two (25-18 and 25-14).
