ADA – The No. 18-ranked Ohio Northern volleyball team hosted the Transylvania (Ky.) Pioneers for a non-conference show down on Tuesday evening.
The Polar Bears (8-7) swept the Pioneers (10-4) by scores of 25-15, 27-25 and 25-17.

The second set was a different story. A five-point service run from Rebecca Luking, gave the Pioneers an 8-7 edge in the set.

A six-point Kasey Roeser service run, highlighted by two Ellen Grenert kills, gave ONU a quick 7-2 lead in the third set.
The Polar Bears were able to hold onto the lead for the rest of the set. A Yoder ace on game point sealed the victory for ONU.
