Carthage volleyball Sweeps North Park, 3-0, on Sept. 13
The Carthage College women's
volleyball team (7-2, 1-0 College Conference of Illinois and
Wisconsin), ranked eighth in the Sept. 13 American Volleyball
Coaches Association NCAA Division III poll, opened its
CCIW-schedule on Tuesday, Sept. 13 with a 3-0 win over North Park
University (7-4, 0-1 CCIW) at the North Park Gym in
Chicago. The Lady Reds' winning set scores over the Vikings
were 25-11, 25-10 and 25-9.
On Friday-Saturday, Sept.
16-17, the Lady Reds travel to San Antonio, Texas, to play in the
Trinity University (Texas) “Fall Classic” at the Earl
C. Sams Gymnasium. On Friday, Sept. 16, Carthage plays Texas
Lutheran University at 2 p.m. and No. 10 Southwestern University at
4:15 p.m. On Saturday, Sept. 17, the Lady Reds take on No. 7
the University of St. Thomas (Minn.) at 10 a.m. and the
host-Tigers, ranked 16th, at 12:15 p.m.
