Kelly Pang of WashU Named D3VB Player of the Week

Secaucus, NJ (November 7, 2011) - Kelly Pang (Honolulu, HI) of #3 WashU is the D3VB Player of the Week.  Pang, a 5'1" Libero, led the Bears to wins over Carnegie Mellon, #16 Chicago, #2 Emory, and the UAA Championship.  The win over Emory avenges WashU's only loss on the season.

Pang averaged over five digs per set with only two receive errors in the three matches this past weekend. Pang had a monster outing against Emory with thirty digs and added two aces.  Pang leads WashU on the season with 498 digs and an average of 5.08 per set.

Pang, a junior, is a two-time 1st Team All-American and was the 2009 National Freshman of the Year.
