Maryville sweeps Berry to claim fifth consecutive victory

The Maryville College Volleyball program claimed their fifth consecutive victory with a 3-0 sweep over Berry College on Tuesday evening on MC’s Randy Lambert Court.
The Scots (10-5) took down the Vikings (8-9) by the scores of 25-23, 25-23, and 25-23.
Maryville native Kristin Findley deposited her 10th double-double of the season with a game-high 13 kills and 13 digs. The senior also added an ace and a solo block. Kara Strickland and Kayla Anderson each added five kills. Teri Lind and Lauren Bonee tallied 15 and 12 assists respectively. Katherine Nadler paced the defense with a game-high 17 digs. Strickland added 13 digs for a complete game effort.
Berry was led by Meredith Hopper and Claire Scott who each deposited nine kills. Crissy Ricketts was strong at the net with five solo blocks.
Maryville will return to the court on Friday when they travel to Greensboro, North Carolina to challenge Guilford College in a non-conference match.
