ASHLAND, Wis. –Curt
Sivertsen has been named Head Volleyball Coach at
Northland College for the 2011 season today according to Director
of Athletics Steve

“I am pleased to announce Curt as our coach for the
upcoming season,” commented Wammer. “He has a strong
volleyball background in a variety of settings.”
“Curt loves the game of volleyball and will passionately
share that love with the student-athletes he will
coach. He has a very diverse background from coaching at
several different levels and that will prove to be a tremendous
asset to the program at Northland.“, states University of
iowa Head Coach Sharon Dingman, “I have enjoyed working with
Curt at two different institutions and I am confident the
student-athletes at Northland will enjoy having Curt as their new
coach.
"I am excited to have the opportunity to be the LumberJill's new Head Coach this fall. Head Coaching opportunities don't come around that often so I felt the time was right and the situation was a good one for me to pursue and to be at Northland." Says Sivertsen, "The UMAC is a good volleyball conference. The opportunity to coach and lead a team in the UMAC is an honor and I look forward to the upcoming season."
