Principia blanks Blackburn 3-0

CARLINVILLE, ILL.—Tonight the Gold and Blue defeated Blackburn 3-0. Principia played sharp throughout the whole match, serving strong and working on different hits and hit placement while also moving well on defense. They started the game with an early 7-0 run in the beginning, and after an hour of disiplined and focused play, the game was over. Everyone on Principia's team got time on the court and scored. The end set scores were 25-9, 25-14, 25-7.
 
Leaders for tonight were Kiersten Andersen with fifteen kills, Tess Rountree with eighteen digs, Summer Switzer with four aces, and Tara Edwards with thirty assists.
 
Principia will return to action on Saturday, October 22, at Cornell College.
